Center to Receive Additional Five Years of NCRR Support

Friday, February 1, 2008

The Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) in Protein Structure and Function recently received a $10.1 million grant to continue support of its efforts to develop this Center. The grant will provide support through 2013. COBRE-PSF was initially established in 2002 through a five-year, $10.1 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (5P20 RR17708). Our Center currently supports eight junior faculty investigators; new investigators and pilot project leaders are being sought through our Spring 2008 request for applications from departments at our four participating universities within Kansas.
