External Advisory Board

The COBRE External Advisory Committee is comprised of a group of prominent scientists who have strong records of training and mentoring, and outstanding credentials in research in areas highly relevant to the theme of this COBRE. In addition, they have extensive experience in management of research projects and research grants, particularly NIH grants. They are all excellent advisors and scientist role models.

The COBRE-PSF staff and members welcomed the EAC members to the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence, KS in September 2017. COBRE administrative staff and committee members who attended are (left to right): Program Director Robert Hanzlik, Stephen Sprang, Brian Matthews, Carol Post and Gary Gilliland. The meeting at the KU School of Pharmacy building offered the advisory committee an opportunity to hear about ongoing research at the Center, and learn about activities in the Center's three core laboratories.
